MAIN OBJECTIVE OF THE PROGRAMME:
To empower unemployed youth in the age between 18-35 years through self employment by providing capacity building including skills by providing financial assistance in the form of subsidy and Loan in order to make them EMPLOYABLE besides identifying new areas which have potential for employment generation.
As per orders of the Government, the “Rajiv Yuva Shakthi” (RYS) Programme was launched on 19-11-2004 in chittoor district more successfully on the occasion of the birthday of our Late Prime Minister of India, Smt. Indira Gandhi similar to other districts in the State.
Financial assistance will be provided to the eligible youth in the following categories:

Eligiblity:
Youth having age between 18 to 35 with a qualification of SSC pass / fail, Income should be below Rs.50,000/- per annum.

The beneficiaries will be selected by the Mandal Selection Committees under the Chairman ship of Special Officer of the Mandal. The MPDO/Commissioner, Bankers and representative of youth Services department as members.
